SB 268                                                                                            
A message dated May 15, 2002, was read stating the Senate has failed                                
to concur in the House amendment to SB 268, namely:                                                 
                                                                                                    
    SENATE BILL NO. 268 am H                                                                        
    "An Act relating to the issuance of state-guaranteed revenue bonds                              
    by the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation to finance mortgages                                  
    for qualifying veterans; and providing for an effective date."                                  
                                                                                                    
and respectfully requests the House to recede from its amendment.
